Training

Douglas Blankenship has an automotive background dating back to 1988. He started on the retail side, selling cars, and held various positions in dealerships, including F&I and New Car Sales Manager.
In 1996 Mr. Blankenship decided to try out a new concept and create an Internet department. Within 6 months, he had built the department up to an average of 34 cars per month, which in 1996 was no small accomplishment.
Mr. Blankenship continued to improve the department until he was hired as a consultant for dealers under the employment of HAC Group in their Cybercar division. Before being purchased by Reynolds and Reynolds, they were the pioneers of Internet Sales Processes for practical use in dealerships across the country. He was also part of their seminar team that raised awareness of the Internet for Subaru, and helped introduce FordDirect.com to its dealers.
Doug Blankenship has a passion for helping dealers utilize the Internet to their maximum potential. After all, the Internet has become the "front line" of the dealership. That is why we offer training and consulting packages. We can do a one time consultation of your Internet Department's workings to tweak your process, or build your process from scratch.
